Bio(My Story)

  I’m Vanak Chan, a Cambodian/American with an undergraduate in textile and apparel management, and a minor in business from the University of Missouri. Currently, I am experienced in adobe photoshop, digital textile, apparel applications, and integrated apparel design. Some important skills I hold are, prioritizing teamwork, providing a respectful environment for everyone to feel safe, and proficiency in illustration, photoshop, and sewing. I mostly work with designing men's collections that target individuals ages 20 - 30+. My work usually consists of nude colors, unique streetwear designs that challenge the gender norm. I also like to create and challenge myself, by working with recycled material. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time are, watching movies, going to the gym, and going out into nature to destress.
